Are you as fed up as I am with PDF annotation apps which demand big dollars just to sign a few documents?
A few days ago I opened my favourite PDF app to sign a document – imagine my shock when the app which I have been using for years greeted me with a subscription demand.
So I did a quick search to try to find an alternative, and guess what? They’ve all gotten greedy. Every app I looked at either demanded big dollars or had a low rating.
Lucky I’m a software developer, so I don’t have to put up with this kind of nonsense. I wrote my own PDF editor.
You can also use the app I wrote, to escape the greed of the PDF mafia.
Download the iPhone version or Android version for a single low cost up front payment.
iPhone / Apple Mac version here.
Android version here.
My promise to you is I won’t turn greedy – that payment is the only money you will ever have to pay for my PDF Annotation app.
Give it a try, let me know what you think. And if you are using another app which is plagued by developer greed, let me know your story and I’ll see what I can do.
My old device failed to load the file completely. Sometimes the software crashes when dealing with large files.
Hi AnnotationUser12, sorry you experienced a problem. I’ve done some testing, and there is an issue with large files, which should be fixed by the upcoming release. Sorry I missed that with the first release.
Old devices are more of a challenge, PDFs especially these days are memory intensive beasts, and older devices tend to be memory starved. I’ll add a warning to the app description with the next release.
Hi AnnotationUser12, the updated version PDF Annotate 1.1 has been released on all platforms.
Thank you again for reaching out, let me know if you experience any further issues.
